Happy Announcement!

am THRILLED to let you all know that we have just arrived home with Andrew!

The surgeons and nurses at Roanoke Memorial were fantastic, and his attending doctor said everything looked great, he is holding his food in and has started gaining some weight again!

I have to take him back to Roanoke the week after next for a follow-up.

Thank you all sooooooo much for your prayers and thoughts!

Please keep him on the prayer list that God continues to heal him and all goes well at his next few doctor visit!

Whirl Wind of a Week

On Wednesday March 5th, Andrew started to severly vomit after each feeding... so when I thought he was becoming dehydrated, we took him to the PCH Emergency Room. After a long 7 hours in the ER, he was moved to the pediatric ward where I was COMPLETELY unimpressed --NOT A GOOD PLACE. On Thursday morning, he was released.

Thursday evening, the vomiting started again - so I took him to the pediatrician Friday morning where she ordered a GI test. Results -- Pyloric Stenosis. Remedy - Surgery.

After being sooo impressed with the stay at PCH, we opted to go to the ER in Roanoke and get him into surgery there. We arrived at 2:30pm, and after a wait of FIVE minutes, we were in and procedures began. 6:00pm - surgery began and we had our baby back by 8pm.

Hopefully we will get to go home tomorrow. Andrew is progressing and looking good!!!!

Thank God for modern medicine and a facility that actually treats patients with respect and dignity!
